BlackRidge Technology & the DoDIN Approved Products List

September 4, 2018 Walt Paley

BlackRidge Technology and the DoDIN Approved Products ListWhen we originally posted our case study with BlackRidge Technology, they were still working towards inclusion on the DoDIN Approved Products List. While the BlackRidge team was on schedule following the completed RapidCert for FIPS 140-2 validation, it wasn't a done deal yet.

We're happy to report that BlackRidge did indeed achieve addition to the DoDIN APL as planned, and the case study has been updated to reflect that. Check it out!

From BlackRidge's official announcement:

“Government agencies are under relentless cyber-attacks and they need to move away from legacy architectures to the new and resilient approach to cyber defense that BlackRidge Technology provides,” said Robert Lentz, BlackRidge director and former DoD CISO. “Congratulations to the team at BlackRidge for achieving this huge milestone of DoDIN APL certification, that enables the DoD and other global defense organizations to move forward with purchasing BlackRidge products.”

“The successful completion of the rigorous certification process required for inclusion on the DoD Approved Products List is a major accomplishment for BlackRidge that accelerates our ability to deliver innovative cyber defense solutions to the federal sector,” said Bob Graham, CEO of BlackRidge Technology. “This achievement provides BlackRidge’s commercial, federal and defense clients worldwide with high confidence in BlackRidge as a trusted solution provider that closes critical network security gaps and prevents today’s cyber-attacks.”

We're proud to partner with BlackRidge Technology to provide FIPS 140-2 validated encryption, and it's an honor to be a building block for their comprehensive certification strategy and their significant contributions to the public sector.

If your use case includes roadmapped benchmarks like the DoDIN Approved Products List, FedRAMP, JITC, or Common Criteria, talk to our FIPS 140-2 specialists here at SafeLogic first. We can help you plan the process for efficiency, work in parallel wherever possible, and accelerate your efforts!
