SafeLogic CEO Slated to Speak in a Trio of Sessions at Wearables Tech Con

Ray Potter Will Contribute to Two Panels Following His Presentation on Apple Watch

Palo Alto, CA – March 5, 2015 – SafeLogic, the company re-inventing how encryption is delivered, is proud to release details on CEO Ray Potter’s participation in BZ Media’s Wearables Tech Con. The conference will take place March 9 to 11, 2015, in Santa Clara, California, assembling a roster of experts to discuss the rapidly growing Wearable sector of mobility.

The week kicks off on Monday at 10:00 AM with one of Apple’s famous media events, titled simply ‘Spring forward.’ Rumored to focus on further details of the highly anticipated Apple Watch, the reference to daylight savings time supports the speculation.

Potter will immediately follow the Apple announcement at 10:45 AM with his solo talk at Wearables Tech Con, ‘Apple Watch Tells the Industry What Time It Is’, discussing the capabilities and security of the technology and its role within the Apple ecosystem. SafeLogic’s chief executive will also consider the HealthKit and the combined effect on competitors such as Samsung, Pebble, Fitbit, and Jawbone. With news and features being unveiled by Apple literally minutes before he takes the stage, Potter’s candid initial reactions are not to be missed.

“Sure, I wish I had at least 24 hours to prepare my comments after Apple’s announcement,” said SafeLogic’s founder. “But this guarantees that I’ll be discussing the absolutely most up-to-date information available to the world on the Apple Watch, and that’s great news for attendees at Wearables Tech Con!”

As an encore on Monday afternoon, Potter will join moderator Angela McIntyre, research director at Gartner, and fellow panelists Dr. Steven LeBoeuf of Valencell and Thomas Sarlandie from Pebble, to discuss the ethical issues behind creating and developing applications and wearable devices that collect and use sensitive content. The panel is at 2:45 PM on Monday, March 9, 2015.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 4:00 PM, Ray Potter will take the stage once more. He will serve as a panelist on the popular discussion titled ‘What’s Up Doc? The Wearable Healthcare Revolution’. Moderated by Catherine Calarco of HeartMath and joined by Mark Scheel, Android Platform Lead at iTriage, Charles Wang, MD, co-founder of Lumo BodyTech, and Jonathan Palley, CEO of Spire. This group will dialogue about the single most discussed use case for Wearables – healthcare.
