Delivering FIPS 140-3 Validated Cryptography for Modern Go Applications

Native Go cryptography combines FIPS 140-3 validation, post-quantum readiness, memory safety, and accelerated certification for software vendors building secure applications.

VIENNA, VA., July 9, 2026 — SafeLogic today announced the availability of CryptoComply Native Go,  FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic software designed specifically for organizations building security-critical applications in Go. The new release enables software vendors, cloud platforms, and regulated enterprises to deploy validated cryptography without leaving the native Go ecosystem, while simplifying compliance, improving performance, and preparing for the transition to post-quantum cryptography.

As adoption of Go continues to accelerate across cloud-native applications, networking infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps tooling, and security software, organizations increasingly need cryptography that satisfies both modern software engineering practices and evolving regulatory requirements. CryptoComply Native Go addresses both challenges by delivering a memory-safe implementation with FIPS 140-3-validated cryptography, support for NIST-approved post-quantum algorithms, and broad compatibility across operating environments.

"Go has become one of the most important languages for modern infrastructure and security software," said Evgeny Gervis, CEO of SafeLogic. "With CryptoComply Native Go, organizations no longer have to choose between modern software development practices and validated cryptography. They can build secure Go applications while maintaining compliance today and preparing for the post-quantum future."

Unlike traditional approaches that rely on language bindings or external C libraries, CryptoComply Native Go provides cryptography implemented natively for Go environments. This approach helps organizations maintain the simplicity, portability, and reliability that have made Go a preferred language for cloud-native and infrastructure software while delivering the assurance required for regulated deployments.

CryptoComply Native Go includes a comprehensive set of FIPS-approved classical cryptographic algorithms, as well as support for ML-KEM, the NIST-standardized and FIPS-approved post-quantum key encapsulation mechanism. This allows software vendors to begin integrating quantum-resistant cryptography into their products while maintaining interoperability with today's deployed systems.

The release also supports a broad range of validated operating environments, making it easier for organizations to deploy compliant cryptography across diverse development and production platforms without maintaining separate cryptographic implementations.

Beyond the cryptographic module itself, SafeLogic continues to simplify the certification lifecycle through its proven certification services.

Organizations using CryptoComply Native Go can obtain their own FIPS 140-3 certificate through RapidCert™, SafeLogic's accelerated rebranding program that delivers customer-owned certificates in as little as eight weeks—dramatically reducing the time traditionally required for certification. After validation, MaintainCert™ provides ongoing software updates, vulnerability response, operating environment expansions, and certification maintenance to help customers preserve compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

CryptoComply Native Go is built on SafeLogic's validated cryptographic technology and backed by SafeLogic's engineering and compliance expertise, allowing customers to focus on product innovation rather than managing the complexity of cryptographic validation.

Key capabilities include:

  • FIPS 140-3 validated native Go cryptographic module (CMVP Certificate #5349)
  • Native Go implementation with memory-safe architecture
  • NIST-approved classical cryptography and ML-KEM post-quantum cryptography support
  • Broad validated operating environment coverage
  • High-performance cryptographic operations optimized for Go applications
  • RapidCert™ customer-owned FIPS 140-3 certification in eight weeks or less
  • MaintainCert™ for continuous software updates and certification maintenance
